The cylinder of the hot press basically adopts the single cylinder form, and the single plunger effectively eliminates the uneven pressure formed by the multi-plunger press on the product plate surface, which improves the flatness of the product to a certain extent. The plunger material is generally made of chilled cast iron. The depth of the surface hardening layer is required to reach more than 20mm, the hardness should reach more than HV700, and the surface roughness should reach Ra0.4um to ensure the sealing effect and improve the service life of the seal. At present, most manufacturers basically use special sealing rings for presses. And by adjusting the pre-tightening force to control the amount of leakage and improve the sealing resistance, the seal can not be adjusted too tight, too tight will cause the plunger to rise when the tremor, but also increase the wear of the seal, so that the oil does not leak and the plunger movement is uniform and flexible. Because the seal is always in a high temperature environment during the pressing process, special attention should be paid to the cooling of the seal. Generally, the water cooling method is adopted, and the water cooling system should be checked frequently. The hydraulic system is mainly composed of high and low pressure pumps, one-way valves, safety valves, pressure regulating valves, fuel tanks, filters, etc. Since the hydraulic system provides pressing power for the press, its reliability and stability are particularly important. Generally, there are two sets of systems, one for use during work, and the other for backup in emergency situations. Due to wear and tear, long-term use of hydraulic oil will produce metal powder, the presence of powder will cause the valve core action is not flexible, serious may lead to the valve core can not move, so the filter should be cleaned regularly (the filter is made of magnetic material, metal powder will be adsorbed on the filter net), if necessary, clean the oil tank, and then re-add the filtered oil.
